Division Chief – Family Court Division

The New York City Law Department is accepting applications for the position of Chief of the Family Court Division. This 90-attorney division prosecutes alleged juvenile offenders in all five boroughs, balancing the needs and best interests of young offenders with the protection of the community. The division chief also manages the interstate child support unit, which secures and enforces orders of support for children from around the country. The division has been in the forefront of the city’s juvenile justice reform efforts and works closely with those agencies responsible for formulating and administering city policies and programs relating to juvenile crime.

Applicants should have experience in criminal and/or family court litigation and should be able to demonstrate a history of successful supervision and management of attorneys.

Salary: $150,000+
